Thank You

Well, I am mobile (Thank You God!), not back to normal, a little slow, still feels like I'm walking in quick sand and the toes and joints a bit sore, but..... yahoooo... what a relief. I cant tell you how relieved I am. Going to take Dish for her first bush walk in over 4 months. Have done the South Beach Doggie Beach in South Fremantle a couple of times in the last week, so feeling confident.
Jackie & I ballooning 2012
I would like to say a huge 'thank you' to my friend Jackie (Mary Q). I am sure the whole exercise of getting the bunions done would have felt insurmountable with out her. She has watched my every move and been on standby to rescue me if need be. I can't begin to tell you about her support, only to say that I will never, ever, be able to repay her.
Rhonda, an 11 hour lunch at the Aberdeen Boat Club, Hong Kong, not the best shot, but the best Lamb Shank Rendang, enjoyed with a bottle or 3 of Australian 'Mr Riggs 'The Gaffer' Shiraz'! That was only days after the op and a day to recover before getting on the plane home! I had never met Rhonda before the day after my op, and she arrived to help me discharge myself from hospital and to get me back to my hotel. xo

Hong Kong, taxi, on the way to the airport. Foot casts on under the joggers, days after the operation.
There are a number of key people that made my journey that much easier and to Jackie, Martin, Rhonda, Graham, Kevin, Jan, Shane, Donna, Steve, Lorraine, Sam, Ron, Karen, Bev & Gerald, I can only say that I am humbled by your help and support. These lovely people have looked after my puppies, have physically got me from A to B, built a ramp, mowed the lawn, delivered my car, have cooked for me, have helped me get in and out of the sea, and up the beach again (won't be doing that again in a hurry, but I was desperate!), have poured my wine, have put their arms around me and told me that every thing will be alright. Jackie was not the only one that was ready to jump on a plane and physically extract me from Hong Kong if anything went wrong! How fricken amazing is that?
The GoGo Mobeel, the first month after the op. Loved that thing, so did the dogs. South Fremantle Doggie Beach
I am so sorry if I have left someone out, people I don't even know have sent me words of support, have helped me cross the street, have helped with the dogs. Everyone have just been lovely.
Lanson Place Hotel, Hong Kong. Good choice. They spoilt me rotten and looked after me beautifully. I am wearing the 'moon boots'.
Tears roll down my cheeks in gratitude. Thank you sooo much to everyone xxxxooooc

But now, I am 'amovin on'.....
