Darby Park, Margaret River
So many people ask me about accommodation that is close to town. I always recommend Darby Park. I have stayed here with a group of friends, several times. It has so much to offer anyone for almost any occasion. The fit outs are new and contemporary. They are well fitted out. Walking distance to the main street and straight out the door for a bush walk along the river. The kids will love the pool.

La Foret Enchantee
I have stayed here twice. Special occasions and a few years ago, it is just lovely. Located between Margaret River and the surf. They offer two choices of accommodation, which are nestled discreetly into the bush. I booked La Cabine which is closest to the river and is in the style of cute timber cottage. I could not get a good look at the other but I believe it is more palatial in style. When I stayed, the river was running and native flowers speckled the bush and river bank. Because it was a birthday, they organised a chef to come, cook and serve us champagne and dinner. Very delicious and a beautiful spoil. I highly recommend it.

| For Some It's All About The Beach! |
Check out the homes listed on this website above. Veronica and her dog Dash, manage only a few houses including these two below. They are all dog friendly (obviously on application) except for The Seahorse (which looks pretty specy).
Ocean Side #7 Papadakis Ave, Prevally
Mum and I have stayed at this house so many times. I love it. The location is perfect for walks and access to the beach, there is no road infront of you. It has a large balcony with a bbq that overlooks the bushland between the house and the beach. An unusual layout. And, showing its age a little, but I like it, and love the location. Just across the road from Ocean Side, The Beach House is also a little older. But, well layed out, well equipped, has views and is great for a relaxed holiday. Love this one too. I haven't stayed here, but my family choose this one often. www.beachhouseholidays.com.au
| The Beach House |
Located in town, about a 5 minute walk to the main street, Bussell Hwy. The site itself houses the accommodation, the hotel - The Knights Inn, the drive through bottle shop, the Indian restaurant, The Maharaja. I have not checked out the rooms or know of anyone that has stayed there, but after initially picking up some yummy takeaway from The Maharaja, I was impressed with the grounds and layout of the resort. They have a lovely pool, a large kiddies playground and a tennis court. The website shows a large variety of room layouts. I think it would be worth consideration if your coming down.

Yallingup Beach Holiday Park
This would have to be one of my favourite caravan parks, the location is awesome. Just across the road from Yallingup Beach, and a little further to walk up the track to Caves House for a steak burger and a beer. A stagger back down the hill, throught he low limestone cliffs. Sleeping with the sound of the surf, heaven.
