Old Kate Rotary Park, Margaret River

One of Madge's 'favourite things to Do & See'

"One of those places you are drawn to when you first arrive in Margaret River. The long walks, the constantly flowing river waters, the serenity of the bush.  You start a young family and you are drawn back to the park to feed the ducks and push your children on the swings. Then they grow up and before you know it - it has been years since you have found time to STOP and take in the changes that have happened to your park. New playgrounds, new toilet block, exercise equipment for all to use; the walks are still the same and the river continues to flow to the ocean.  Old Kate (Rotary Park) is Margaret Rivers 'safe place' and not to be passed by."

"Walk the rails to trails from Old Kate....limber up on the parks new exercise equipment and take your time along the waters edge. Go early or later in the afternoon, as it can get warm." Madge
