Must Bistro Margaret River

Gosh, what a day it was yesterday. Managed to get the house looking spick and span for my visitor. And, so much on this weekend. The Show. The Cape to Cape Mountain Trail Bike Race. The Fun Run. The Growers Markets. Im sure there must be more. Any way, at one stage I felt I was eating and drinking my way through the day.

It is Valmai's birthday. So, we went to Must for lunch. They have a great special which is 2 or 3 courses and includes a glass of wine or a beer. I had the asparagus with poached egg, Valmai has a feta tart. Yum. For mains we both had the Augusta line caught Pink Snapper. Yum.

My visitor arrived later in the afternoon. Another glass of wine. Then down to Must, again! Being a Friday night it was pumping. We noticed a few people being turned away because they didn't have a booking. I did book but just squeezed in. So book early. We shared the Oysters Kilpatrick and both ordered the Angel Hair Pasta with Blue Manna Crab. That is one of our favourites. I can remember the first time I had it, years ago. V delish. Bumped into my accountant who was doing the Trail Bike Race, he said it was fun and grueling (cant be right, I don't think he would ever mention the word 'fun').

Dish spent her day stalking the baby rabbit that is living under the shed. That little wabbit is so smart. Im sure it's the one I picked out of the vege garden. She was climbing up the wire to get more parsley when she toppled in, over the top. I picked her up, couldn't resist a cuddle, too cute. Any way, every time Dish turns her back the wabbit darts back across the lawn. She watches Dish the whole time and doesn't seem all that worried, possibly calculating that she is a faster runner.

We are off to the Farmers Markets for breakfast. And, then Cullens for lunch. Someone's got to do it! Cath
